1876 Dakin Insurance founded. Barron Dakin begins selling fire insurance to farmers.

1877 May 29, officially certified as a bank by the comptroller of the U.S. under the National Bank Act. Incorporated with a capital stock of $50,000 from 20 stockholders.


1908 New bank office is built at its current location on the northeast corner of Broadway and Mulberry.


1913 $100,000 Capital and $100,000 in Surplus.

1918 Bank accepts deposits for Red Cross for World War I.


1920 Bank serves as receiver for Society of Believers called Shakers at Union Village.

1922 $150,000 Capital.

1925 $275,000 Capital Stock. Total resources $2.5 million.

1927 Bank remodeled. Celebrates 50th Anniversary.


1930 Because of the bank's strength and stability, the Bank helped many families through the Great Depression.


1940 Bank sells war stamps and war bonds during World War II.


1952 Bank celebrates 75th Anniversary


1962 First branch office opened in South Lebanon. Drive-Thru bank opened. Bank granted Trust Powers.


1974 Columbus Avenue office opened.

1976 $36 Million Assets.

1977 Bank celebrates 100th annivsary. 50 employees.

1977-1981 New offices built in: Mason, Maineville, Roachester/Morrow, and Otterbein.


1981 $69 Million Assets.

1982 Hunter office opens.

1983 Bank introduces Tellerific ATM machines.

1984 $100 Million Assets. Waynesville office opens.

1986 Loveland office opens.

1988 Fire severely damanges second and third floors of Main office. Bank disaster back-up plan works. Bank does not miss a day of operation.

1989 Grand Opening of remodeled Main office, built for the future.


1990 $230 Million Assets.

1992 Trust Department moves into new offices on Mulberry.

1993 Middletown office opens.

1996 Springboro office opens. BankLine introduced. Trust Department reaches $100 Million Assets.

1997 Wilmington office opens. Waynesville, Oxford, and Okeana offices acquired from Key Bank. New logo introduced.

1999 LCNB Corp. formed. Hamilton loan production office opened. The first electronic branch opens at Countryside YMCA. PC Banking, check imaging and web site launched - www.lcnb.com


2000 $451 Million Assets. New offices opened in Goshen and Oxford. Columbus Avenue office remodeled. Dakin Insurance becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of LCNB Corp. Five new Dakin offices opened in Columbus Avenue, Waynesville, Goshen, Maineville, Springboro.

2001 New Hamilton office opens.

2001 18 LCNB offices, 3 electronic branches, 7 Dakin offices, 45 Drive-Thru Lanes, 23 ATMs, 254 Employees.

2002 Bank celebrates 125th Anniversary.

2003 LCNB launches new website.

2004 New Fairfield office opens.

2005 New Warrior branch opens at Lebanon High School.

2005 New Mason Christian Village office opens.

2007 New Oakwood office opens.

2007 LCNB Lebanon Citizens National Bank changes its name to LCNB National Bank.

2007 LCNB Acquires Sycamore National Bank. Grows to 24 offices.

2007 LCNB to build Centerville office in Spring 2008.

2008 Steve P. Foster named 10th President in LCNB National Bank's history.
